One Day or Day One?
I didn’t overthink it, I just hit post. Within 24 hours, 2,000 creators gave me feedback Here’s why I’m building in public for the next 75 days.
Some backstory for your head top…
Yesterday I posted this video online.
You know how it goes… you have an idea, you overthink it, and before you know it, it’s gone. But this time I didn’t wait. I shipped it. And the response was wild.
Within 24 hours, over 2,000 people were interested, many of which had jumped in.
making a commitment to join me for the next few months, putting themselves out there daily.
To tell you the truth I hadn’t really thought much about my own contribution however something in me remembered an old rhythm.
A few years ago, I used to ghostwrite a column called Creator Crunch. Every week I’d share stories, insights, and lessons for creators like me who were figuring out how to make a living online. It was exhilarating because I got to reflect on my own journey while helping others navigate theirs. I wasn’t just writing tips, I was shaping perspective.
That column reached thousands of readers, and it taught me something important: I could move hearts with my words. I could make people feel seen. When that startup later pivoted in a new direction, I started an open diary of my own. I began documenting my journey of becoming — slowing down, showing up, and doing the inner work of being. People resonated with it deeply. It was the first time I realised that my reflections, not my camera presence or energy online, could genuinely shift something in others.
But even with that, there was still an itch. Something inside me wanted to write again, not just for myself but for others like me — people who build, dream, and sometimes doubt.
So i’m going again.
This time not as a diary, but as a daily column. One that’s something simple, direct, and honest. I want to speak to the creator who feels stuck somewhere between being and doing, the one who keeps saying, “I’ll start tomorrow.”
Honestly if that’s you? My goal is to help you move again, to take small daily steps that get you unstuck. Because I’ve learned that the best ideas aren’t the ones we overthink, they’re the ones we test.
Why This Column?
I’ve been a creator for more than ten years now. I came up during the early wave of YouTube in 2016, one of the first Black male vloggers in the UK. Since then, I’ve grown up in the creative industry, Adventuring through all different creative corners, compiling work, building communities, working with startups, leaders and founders.
Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of telling stories for some of the biggest brands in the world. I’ve built projects, led teams, hosted dinners, and championed voices that deserved to be heard. But what I’ve realised is that what matters most to me isn’t just scale or prestige, it’s impact. It’s being able to talk directly to the people who dream like I do and help them take one small step closer to those dreams each day.
For a long time, I built quietly and half-visibly, keeping things small and safe. But after a decade of experimenting, failing, and learning, I know now that I have something real to offer. This column is my way of sharing that — the lessons, the questions, the rhythm of showing up every day.
I also wanted a format that stripped away the performance. No setups, no filters, no camera angles. Just words. Just truth.
So, The Stack is my 75-day experiment in motion, a daily column for creators, founders, and self-starters who are learning to build in public.
There’s no master plan here, just movement.
My goal? To reach 5,000 readers by the end of this experiment— but not just for the number. I want 5,000 people moving, making, and showing up in real time. So each day i’ll bring you into my creative world, share with you projects, failures, tools and reflections of real life events that i’ve had to overcome, with hopes that you may be inspired to continue + in return I’ll challenge you with one small action to try.
So, if you’ve been sitting on an idea, a half-written caption, or a project that keeps whispering “someday,” consider this your cue. Do something about it today. Share it, post it, test it, or even just outline it… but get it out of your head and into the world.
Because the truth is, clarity lives on the other side of motion.
Oh yeah, who am I?
Hey, I’m Josiah Hyacinth.
You might’ve seen me on YouTube back in the day as Mr200m, or maybe in a campaign somewhere or maybe this is your first introduction, which is even better. Either way, I’m someone who’s spent the last decade somewhere between creativity, culture, and commerce.
I started out as one of the early Black male vloggers in the UK, documenting life and lessons with a small camera and a big dream. Since then, I’ve grown into a multi-hyphenate storyteller” a creator, strategist, and community builder who’s worked with brands like Nike, Google, Samsung and Amazon.
I’ve built communities, directed shoots, hosted dinners, DJ’d nights, and journeyed with some of the world’s leading voices, helping them shape stories that move people. Along the way, I’ve also built businesses, shipped ideas, and launched projects that have lived, evolved, and sometimes failed. However each one taught me the value of creating, iterating, and staying curious in public.
At my core, I’m still that same storyteller who believes in the power of showing up, experimenting, and creating something that makes people feel less alone. That’s what the stack is all about.

Alright we’re running out of time for todays write up, but in true artistic, experimentational style. We’re doing something new.
After each column we’ll challenge you with an action, call it ‘Todays Stack Move’. Think of it like one move on a chess board, something simple yet part of a wider goal to advance your ideas into motion. Sooooo…
Today’s Stack Move ♟️
Pick one idea that’s been sitting quietly in your notes or head.
No big plans, no overthinking, just one small move that gives it shape.
Share it publicly, even if it’s half-baked, to someone around you, maybe a tory on instagram, and get real feedback, and see how you feel then.
